From the very beginning, the fund's goal was to contribute to the restoration of the places connected with the name of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II. This is a unique work, having no analogy in the world, that tells about and demonstrates in detail the sojourn of the Emperor (at that time the Tsesarevich) in Siberia, in particular in Tomsk. There exist a lot of materials devoted to Nicholas II which are connected with other Russian & world’s cities, but none of them has ever described in detail the moments of His life connected with “small towns”. Nobody has ever paid such an attention to Tomsk, though Tomsk has a lot to tell & show. Strange as it may seem but Tomsk is closely connected with Romanov’s Dynasty. A lot of places where the sovereign stayed were then destroyed by Bolsheviks, and the fund has an aim to restore everything that is dear to our people as our history, as our memory. On the pages of our site you will be able to see our fund’s work, to observe what we have done for such a short period of time. And it is not words but a great hard work. Nowhere else in the world you can find the chapel of St. Feodor of Tomsk (Legendary Emperor Alexander I Romanov). The fund has made great efforts to revive this unique relic which is dear not only to the Romanovs as it has the relics of Saint Feodor of Tomsk (according to the legend the relics of Alexander I), but also to the whole orthodox world. Look at the pictures and you will see what it was and what it has become. The last Russian emperor Nicholas II visited this place located on the territory of the Tomsk Virgin – Alexievsky friary on June 5 – 6 1891. In 1996 on the territory of Tomsk Novodevichy Convent of John the Baptist (that the last Russian Emperor also visited) the chapel of Saint Domna was built in honour of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Emperor Nicholas II Tomsk Technological Institute (now Tomsk Polytechnic University). See photo. Her Royal Majesty of Denmark - Queen Margaret II - gave her consent to become an Honorable Member of the building committee in memory of the Emperor Nicholas II & his mother empress Maria Feodorovna (Danish Princess Dagmara) who was also connected with the Novo - Devichy Nunnery by a high patronage & participation. The consecration of n the new Nunnery chapel was attended by the first ambassador of the kingdom of Denmark in Russia – Mr.Henrik - Irvy Iversen authorized to represent Queen Margaret II in Tomsk. The restoration of Tomsk Bogoyavlensky cathedral, founded in 1620 by Tomsk voivode – prince – Ivan Shakhovskoy, began during the reign of the first Romanov tsar - Mikhail Feodorovitch. In 1777 – 1784 years the cathedral was rebuilt in stone. One of the paramount aims of the fund is to prepare & realize the restoration of the Voznesenskaya Church in Semiluzhnoye Selo, Tomsk chapel, Iversk Virgin Tomsk Holy Trinity cathedral and other valuable monuments connected with the visit of Nicholas II. With an active moral help of the true adherents of Nicholas’s II memory & supporters of spiritual revival of Russia in Tomsk, the work has already begun. Unfortunately the fund’s means are not enough for the realization of all these numerous restoration projects. The Emperor Nicholas II route through the Tomsk province was completely reconstructed. All these places are well known. They are waiting only for desire & means to restore them… We have a desire! Means are insufficient. These places are a part of Russian history. If people don’t know their past, they will not have any future. Taking into consideration that Tomsk actually is situated in the center of the Eurasian region, the fund "Äåðæàâà" is preparing a unique project – a tourist’s route "Travelling of Emperor Nicholas II through Tomsk" that can be very interesting for many people in Russia and abroad. According to the request’s we find in our e-mail box we can say that this tourist’s project provoked a huge interest all around the world. After some additions (that again demand financial expenses) this route will be offered to world tourism agencies. One of the fund’s "Äåðæàâà" goal is an upbringing of our young Russian generation. The youth show a live, real interest in the history. We don’t want our children and grandchildren know Russian history only by a monument to Lenin, Dzerzhinsky and some other personalities. We are more concerned about the history that was written during the centuries and is connected with our people’s traditions and culture. Moral values, faith! – these are the principles on which the upbringing of the generation that was already born in a free Russia should be based. This is the problem that should face those people who are concerned with Russia & its future. Faith to the tsar, Motherland, God – this call was, is & should stay in people’s hearts, especially in young people’s ones. So that it will not be just words our fund is doing this great (from our point of view) & useful cause. But it is impossible to envelop unbounded. We appeal to everybody who is interested in the restoration of justice, to whom the address "Mister" is not alien - please support our idea, help our fund. We will not succeed without your help. Here is a curious example! At the beginning of its work, the fund "Äåðæàâà" carried out a sociological poll of Tomsk inhabitants. Our question was the following: Are you interested in the restoration of monuments connected with the name of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II? The result was just fantastic: 94% of respondents answered affirmatively. This theme arouses a great interest among people & especially young people. They would like to know their history, a lot of the respondents took an active part in the chapel’s building of Elder Feodor Kozmich (Legendary Emperor Alexander I). Almost everybody said "Yes" on the question: "Would you like to be a prince or a noble man?". The fact speaks for itself. What we are doing is useful & there is no sense to lose a moment when our new young generation is interested in the restoration of primordial traditions. It already happened once: who knows, may be somebody among young people will get a noble tittle from the hands of the Head of the House of Romanov for his/her great services to the homeland. The fund "Äåðæàâà" again appeals to everybody who sees & hears us. The pictures have showen to you that money is for a just & useful cause. If the restoration of historical monuments, temples has already begun, it means that Russia is restoring. Please, help us! God saves us!
