The 6th of July, 2011.

        On the 5th of July, 2011 the Saint righteous Feodor Kozmich saint relics finding was celebrated in Tomsk St. Virgin Alexievsky friary. The liturgy was ministered by the archbishop of Tomsk and Asino Rostislav. The religious procession with cross and banners with the saint relics of Feodor Kozmich went round the friary. Among the people praying there were orthodox countrymen from Angero-Sugensk. They participated in the religious procession on the way from Angero-Sugensk towards Tomsk, a celebration in honour of Saint Feodor. Also thousands of Siberian pilgrims were among those who prayed.

        “Imperial town - Imperial Tomsk”. The Municipal institution (historical Tomsk) has declared the project according to which there will be “Imperial town” in Tomsk (district of Krylov’s street (Monastery) and Frunze’s prospect (Nechayevsky - Shumikcinsky - Zeteyevsky – Yurtochny bystreets). The project is designed by Lisovskaya N. A., the architect. The town’s name refers to the legend about St. Feodor Kozmich royal origin, who is considered to be Alexander I gone secretly away from the throne, the Emperor and the Conquer of Napoleon. The reason to give the name is the Romanov dynasty revelation, some issues of previously unknown materials and the empty tomb of Alexander I in St. Peterburg’s St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral (the tomb without remains).

        The ideological and compositional centres of the town are: St. Virgin Alexievsky friary where the saint relics are preserved and the place of St. Feodor’s cell in the estate of the mercharnt Khromov S. F. (the corner of Krylov’s street and Frunze’s prospect). It is planned to build a chapel here in the memory of St. Feodor Kozmich, estate restoration, construction of the tourist and hotel complex (Imperial). The project is approved by the mayor’s office of Tomsk. From the moment of the publication in Mass Media Tomsk is called “The Imperial City”. The project implementation will reinforce the world and Russian status of Tomsk, attract tourists, pilgrims and investors. It’s planned to celebrate the 200 anniversary of the Patriotic War of 1812 – the victory over Napoleon, the conquest of Paris in 1814, and establishment of the Tripartite Unity, 1815, when Alexander I became the architect of the modern European Union. The Celebration Committee is established in Moscow the program of which concerns Imperial Tomsk.

        “The tsar legend”. In 2007 the German composer I. O. Hannes Kernmaier wrote libretto to the opera “The tsar legend” (about St. Feodor Kozmich – Alexander I, the Blessed Emperor), devoted to his mother-in-law Maria Olegovna Romanova (from the Romanov boyar dynasty). She is the St. Feodor’s votary, the pilgrim who comes every year from Vienna to Tomsk, to the relics of St. Feodor Kozmich since 1999. The premiere is planned to take place in Tomsk. Nowadays the premiere is prepared in the Krasnoyarsk State Theatre of Ballet and Opera.

        Two icons of Saint Feodor Kozmich which were painted by Father Sergei (Romanovich) a celibate priest of the old styled orthodox greek church. He is represented in this image by the foreign church. A copy of one of the icons was given to Virgin - Alexievsky friary in 1999, the copy was painted by Father Sergey for a house chapel of the elder which belongs to boyarynia - Mariya Olegovna Roman in Vienna.

       In 2001 during her regular visit to Tomsk the icon of Saint Feodor Tomsky was given freely to.        The icon of St.Feodor Kuzmich with St.Blessed duke Alexander Nevskiy and St.Great Martyr Feodor Stratilat (the second at the left ).The icon was created in the icon - painting workshops of Tomsk Virgin - Alexievsky friary in the memory of the St.Alexandr Nevsky - theAngel of the Emperor Alexandr I and St.Feodora Stratilat - the Angel Feodor of Tomsk, holding the icon of Kazan God's Mother, which was in the monument chapel of St.Feodor of Tomsk in Tomsk Virgin - Alexievsky friary.

       The chapel was built in 1904 above the vault shrine of the elder Feodor Kozmich of Tomsk and it was pulled down in 1936, when iconostas of the chapel was lost with the above mentioned icon.The located in the chapel icon was painted with the blessing of Tomsk Virgin-Alexievsky friary abot, archimandrit Iona (Izosimova) who believed that the elder Feodor Kozmich was Emperor Alexandr I, who left the throne secretly.

       Nowadays an icon of sainted Nikolay Mirlikinskiy - the Great Miracle Man of Tomsk is made in the icon - painting workshops of Tomsk Virgin - Alexievsky friary. By 300 years acquisition of miraculous sacred image of holy Nikolay 7(18)th of July 1702 about Tomsk.

       In the beginning of the 18th century a "narrative" about the apparition of sainted Nikolay Mirlikinskiy and his miraculous sacred image was made, which was placed by the instruction of the Sainted himself, in Nikolo - Voznesenskay church of Semiluzhniy village. Since the holiday "God’s Transfiguration" on the 6th of August 1702 until 1923, this icon was annually brought to the town of Tomsk with religious processions.

       The apparition description of the icon and Sainted Nikolay about Tomsk is written in the well - known book "The life and miracles of St.Nikolay the Miracle Man, an archbishop Mirlikiyskiy and his glory in Russia", which was published in the city of St.Petersburg in 1799, and reprinted by the St.Petersburg’s edition "Tzarskoe Delo" in 1998, pages 593-603.

       During the apparition about Tomsk 7th (18) of July 1702. Sainted Nikolay appeared with a spear. This is the only apparition in the Christianity history of Sainted Nikolay in such image of a warrior.        After the temple was closed in Semiluzhnoe village in 1936, the icon was handed to Voznesenskay, and then to Trotzkay Cathedrals of Tomsk city.

       The present whereabouts of this icon is unknown. By 300 anniversary of the icon apparition in 2002 the performance of religious procession is supposed with the newly painted icon from Semiluzhnoe village to Tomsk in restoration of the tradition of this oldest religious procession in Tomsk region.
